Roland
Kushmore

Treasurer​​​​​​​
Roland comes to our Board with an immense, strong background in Business, Condo rules and regulations, City of Sarasota Codes, and Condo ownership. As a property owner in and around the Sarasota area, he has the knowledge to assist our Board with rental codes and Tenant rights, as well as Association rights. With his strong knowledge of finance and working in conjunction with our CPA firm, he manages our Association and Treasury with knowledge and confidence

Moreno
Vice-President​​​​​​​
Leyanit came to the Sarasota area from Cuba in 1985. She then attended Riverview High School,  Manatee Community College, and she earned her AA at Kaiser College.  She is married and has two beautiful daughters. Being fluent in Spanish, she's an asset to the Board as a translator. She is very knowledgable of the owner and tenant rights and works hard for all in the Fairway Oaks Community

At Large

Grant is a native Floridian and has lived in Sarasota his entire life. He has been an Owner-Resident since May of 2012. In his 6th year on the Board, he has served as Secretary, and President. He is self-employed as a Personal Fitness Trainer and he believes in maintaining a healthy & active lifestyle. In his spare time, he enjoys attending live music performances - as well as singing, playing, & writing some of his own songs.




 Mike Conklin

Director ​​

Mike has been an Owner-Resident since May of 1991.  He is a retired business man and in his spare time, Mike likes reading architectural and mechanical books and has a background in the construction industry. Mike has previously served the Fairway Oaks Board and is looking forward to working with our Board to help make our community a flourishing environment for all of its residents.




Rhoda Porter

Director  ​​

Rhoda has been an Owner-Resident since April of 2002. She previously served on the Fairway Oaks Board and supervised the Fairway Oaks Night Watch program. Rhoda is self-employed and lives here in our community with her college bound daughter. She strives to make Fairway Oaks a safe and secure community for all to live in and enjoy.

ALL approved owners, approved residents, professional inquiries, and approved or contracted vendors, please call the Office at 941.312.5746 for  an appointment.

PLEASE NOTE:    Do not call or contact the Board officers/members or their employees on their personal home or cell phones, emails, or residences about Fairway Oaks matters. Please follow the protocols established in our condo documents.

The Rules of civility must be met at all appointments and communications.

Civility Rules:        (1) Each person will be treated with respect and treat others with respect; (2) Personal attacks, abusive or disrespectful language, disruptive behavior, and redundancy are strictly prohibited;(3) All electronic devices off or silent. No recordings without knowledge and permission of all parties present. Failure to follow these rules will constitute expulsion from the office immediately. Trespassing charges may then be applied.​​​​​​​​​​​​​

COVENANT COMMITTEE REMINDER:
Garbage/Recycle pick up is early Thursday mornings, so put out your Garbage and Recycling bins on Wednesday night after 5pm. Please- Take cans back in no later than Friday afternoon at 12pm.

BULK TRASH pick up is also going to be on Thursday mornings. Please, all items must be contained in a bag or bundled, unless large furniture or appliances. If you wish to "dumpster dive" in the piles, please clean up after yourself and contain remaining trash! Yard waste must be contained, as well- no loose debris allowed!
Lawn trash must be bagged or bundled with ties. None over 40 lbs.
This applies to all move out piles,
as well.

Contact the Office for free parking decals. There are 2 parking spaces per unit allowed and the vehicle owner must present a Current Driver's License and vehicle registration. Parking decals are only issued to FAIRWAY OAKS BOARD APPROVED Owners and Residents. Unapproved owner or tenants’ vehicles will be towed! ALL overnight guest vehicles are required to be registered with the Fairway office
 personnel. Guest passes are issued for overnight guests and visitors.
NO COMMERCIAL VEHICLES CAN PARK AFTER MIDNIGHT. 

Failure to have a decal or visitors pass will result in your vehicle being towed at vehicle owner's expense!

City of Sarasota​
Any work done to your unit must be approved by the Board. Please submit a Work Request explaining the content of your work to be done. All City of Sarasota guidelines for work must be followed. Any exterior changes MUST be approved- Code Enforcement parameters must be met by owners.
Events and Reminders
Due to Florida State, City of Sarasota, and Dept. of Health recommendations, the pool is closed per COVID-19 guidelines. Remember to please follow the rules posted at pool.
NO lifeguard is on
duty at any time.
POOL WILL BE OPENED
at a later date determined by COVID-19 recommendations 

REMINDER ATTENTION:
Do not sit or hang on rope in the pool, DO NOT bring food or drinks to pool area (except plastic bottled water), and follow posted rules at the pool-
Penalty for not following the rules of the pool is a 2 week suspension from the pool for first offense. Suspensions increase with each additional infraction. Cameras and staff are watching!

Monthly Maintenance Fees do not include water/sewer/trash, electric, phone, premium cable channels and internet, or any additional cable equipment.

A mailbox key has to be secured from the US Post Office located on Beneva Road, North of Fruitville in the Plaza​​​​.
 
Driver's License(s) or passport(s), and a signed Approval Checklist.
